Below is a price list for our handfed baby birds. Prices shown are for weaned birds, which is the only way we sell them. We strongly believe that skills of handfeeding and weaning are an art, and should not be attempted by anyone without experience. We have found that it is not necessary to handfeed a bird in order to bond to it. We can give you plenty of testimonials from individuals who bought fully weaned birds from us and have bonded just fine.

Some of our birds are reserved even before they hatch, so if you are interested in getting one from us, let us know and we will put you on our waiting list. When the baby hatches, we will require a non-refundable deposit of $200 (which will be applied to the purchase price of the baby) + $30 if you want us to determine the gender of your bird, and the balance will be due upon weaning (approximately 90 - 120 days later).
The balance of payment can be either by Bank-to-Bank funds transfer, cashier's check, money order, credit card or by check. If sending a check, it MUST arrive at least 2 weeks prior to our shipping the bird in order to allow the check time to clear. Birds are shipped at buyer's expense. Shipping charges (which include airfare, insurance, and a shipping crate), run $150 to most cities in the US. Shipping charges must be prepaid. Sorry, but we do not ship birds outside of the United States. For more information on our shipping policies, just click here.
Birds from Wool-N-Wings are guaranteed to be healthy. Our nursery is very clean and we disinfect daily with Maxima Germicidal Detergent. We have a closed collection, and only raise and sell babies that we produce on our ranch.
Thanks again for your interest in our birds. Customers and veterinarians around the US have consistently told us we have some of the biggest, healthiest and most beautiful babies they have ever seen. Our birds are raised around our family so they have lots of interaction with kids, dogs, and other animals. With Janet and I both sharing the handfeeding duties, the birds are well bonded to both women and men. The birds are well adjusted for most environments by the time they leave our nursery.
Please be aware that we receive many calls and emails each week so if it takes a couple of days for us to get back to you - please be patient. Email is the best way to get a hold of us.
