Below are some pictures of 2 female Eclectus parrots. The one on the right is a 3 month old Grand Eclectus female, and the one on the left is a mature Vosmaeri Eclectus female.

In this picture as well as the one below, you can see how the Grand has more blue coloring on the sholder's and chest, whereas the Vosmaeri has more of a purple/blue color.

This picture shows the difference in beak coloration between an immature and mature female eclecus. The beak is yellow or horn colored in the immature bird, and then turns a dark black color after about 6 months.

This picture shows the difference in the yellow tipping of the tail between the Vosmaeri on the left and the Grand on the right. The Vosmaeri has almost 1.5 inches of yellow whereas the Grand has about .25 of an inch of yellow. This is one of the easiest ways to differentiate between a Grand and a Vosmaeri.
